This combination cylinder provided precise hydraulic prepositioning of hold down wheels while providing hold down pressure control via the air cylinder.

Emergency Steam Shut-down valve. This is a spring return air cylinder which will automatically retract if there ever is a power failure to the valve.

Spring return (or extend) is also available for hydraulic service. Full range of sizes are available.

12" bore X 24" stroke, Welded Style hydraulic cylinder. Used in a Crusher application - B.C. Mining. This was a replacement for an old-style Steam cylinder. In this application, the cylinder was made to fit into an existing chamber that the customer could not modify.

This heavy-duty welded cylinder is for a Skidder machine - among the most abusive applications in logging equipment. It is a 4" bore with high pressure seals to handle pressure spikes. It's robust design is well suited for tough bush-duty applications.

Press Roll application, double-rod air cylinder. This custom cylinder provides for 3 positions and is used for positioning Press rolls. It features a special external bumper to cushion on retract.

Royal's 'Catcher' (Cushion) cylinder is used on Board Edger machines in lumber mills. The high side-load on extension, is handled by this cylinder which is designed for stability and greater bearing loads.

This reservoir features a translucent barrel to make oil level visible. It is used as an accumulator in situations that require a piston-type accumulator verses a bladder type. Custom mounting and full range of sizes are available.
