Royal Westcoast Cylinders Inc. is a family-owned business founded in 1960 in New Westminster, British Columbia.
 
Known today as “Royal Cylinders”, Royal product was created to satisfy the requirements of the North American wood and resource industries and grew out of the need for dependable and long-lasting cylinders that were simple to repair. 
 
As we have grown, we have transformed into a global supplier of dependable actuators for custom and heavy-duty applications that span from North America to Oceania, and Europe.
 

Today, we provide actuators for many different industries that require robust construction and specific configurations. In creating our products, we listened to the people that use and repair them and focused on what they liked and disliked. Our products are designed and manufactured to withstand the toughest industrial applications while still maintaining ease of repair. With experience and application knowledge going back to the 1960’s, and with well over 5,000 custom designs, we can assist you in finding an actuator that fits your application and budget.

Our main manufacturing and design facility is located in New Westminster, British Columbia, just 12 miles (20 km) east of Vancouver. Royal Cylinders also has two authorized repair centers and a “CTL” cut to length facility in New Zealand.
